Established in 1982, El Dorado Pathology Medical Group (EDPMG) has been providing anatomic and clinical pathology services for Marshall Medical Center and outpatient medical and dental clinics throughout El Dorado County. EDPMG also provides pathology services for Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and clinics in the Grass Valley area. We specialize in general surgical pathology, hematopathology, cytopathology and gastrointestinal/liver pathology.
EDPMG also provides clinical pathology services, such as medical laboratory directorship, with specialty areas focused in hematology and transfusion medicine. Our histology laboratory at Marshall is CAP accredited. Our main goal is to provide our patients with the most accurate and timely diagnosis. We work closely with the medical staff to ensure that all patients receive the best care possible.
